  • Identification and discussion of best practices in hazard mitigation in the US (literature review)  Lessons learned from reconstruction following damaging events (literature review)  
  • Experiences with translating science into public policy for hazard mitigation  
  • Literature review on various hazards where it is possible to use the same/similar approach  Agenda

10:45pm - 11:15pm: Massimo Musacchio (also for Antonio Costanzo & Fabrizia Buongiorno, INGV), A  multi-disciplinary approach for the structural monitoring of Cultural Heritages in a seismic area

9:30am – 9:45am: Unicam team: Presentation of a first draft report that is due at the end of December  2019 (Outline, section authors, format, etc.)  

9:45am – 10:00am: Discussion  

10:00am – 10:30am: Massimo Sargolini and Jonathan Stewart: Planning for December workshop:  objectives / guest speakers / format / location and travel logistics  

After 10:30:  

- Discuss the draft report that is due at end of December 2019.  

- Outline, section authors, format, etc.  

- Free-form discussion. No specific agenda.
